Hot damn these rock!! I'm actually geeking out, so I can't expound on what makes it cool. Maybe it's the depth of field? Or the perspective on the characters? Who can say? So far Robot has been a fun character to get into.

At this point I'm at #13, so time will tell if this is still true....

I just love Rex Splode. I'm sad that there aren't more pictures of him around, because I just adore his character design. His outift is so damn cool!

I haven't read very far yet, so he still comes off as a giant jerk to me.. but...I still can't help but adore him.

I mean- he makes stuff explode! HOW COOL IS THAT?!

Also, Robot is awesome. Kudos to you man, he's always a special treat to look at, something I look forward to. I love how his helmet just gives me the whole stitched lips/skeleton vibe, and his eyes are just SO cool! Of course, robots in general are awesome!

Super heroes are wicked awesome, and I've loved them for a long time- but to be honest, no work has really inspired me as much as Invincible has. Every time I glance at the darn book.. I feel like drawing, designing characters- trying to make something that's even remotely as cool as it is!

You are doing SUCH a great job, and I just can't stop re-reading the books over and over again! (TTwTT; they're my friends too.. I don't want to give them back!) Keep it going man, you make me want to draw all over the place!

HA! No I think I can get a spot, I might try to share a table with somebody, but I am a lazy ass and so far I've enjoyed going to cons and Robert having a table there for me to mooch off of, heh.

Wait, then how does it work?
I just thought that everybody who works for an ACTUAL (well known-well circulated) publisher pretty much has an open ticket. Like you's be walkin' in saying,
"I draw Invincible, Bitch! Where's my seat?"

It seems to be pretty hip these days to start up a "studio" with a bunch'a guys. You could start a "9mm Crew" or "Fromage Studios" or something. I thought it was pretty badass that all you guys were at the Image Booth (was it not planned?) I guess it did seem a little crowded.

That was planned. Robert basically invited us to be there. But everyone has to pay for a table, some smaller conventions will hook up creators but not SD. So in the past Robert buys a table and lets his friends stay free as long as they help out with the booth and all that. And no I'm not starting up some studio, I'll just share a booth with someone else, so I only have to pay half.

Oh no, you are definitely suppose to. Now do you love him?

CRETE Featured By Owner Nov 9, 2005  Professional Artist
Dude he cheated on the most down to earth chick in the Image universe for some multiplying broad with no dialogue. THEN he condescended to to a little girl who could essentialy rip every hero in existance limb from limb if she felt so inclined. Other than that, he can't even manage to really pull off anything worthy of the title "badass" unless it ocurs while fighting a character so nameless and unimportant (ie alien invasion forces) that they wouldn't even get a number when listed in the credits or script.

Oh no. the reader is most DEFINITELY not supposed to love Rex.

It's possible...
(Note to self: Don't get into theoretical arguments about characters with the people who are involved with the actual story)
