I drew every issue for the 7th HC. We had Cory Walker do 2 issues in the 6th HC though. There's only been 2 artists on this book since the beginning. Cory's done 11 total, and I've done the rest. That aint so bad is it?
I loved this spread when I saw it. It was definitely one of those "Ohhhhh-shit!" moments. You and Kirkman are on the right track. This is what superhero fans have been wanting to see for a long time. Real fights with real consequences. Progressive timelines and a constantly evolving cast of characters.
This sequence saddened me mostly cause it seemed like Thad's head was still alive up till the grisly end. I mean, his expressions changed!! I chock that up to how fast it happened. Grisly! (and awesome)
man, this is what you should do if you don't get an eisner or something for all this stellar work. dunno whose head you'd have to pull off though. (presumably not will eisner because that'd be uncool and presumably pretty icky)
i was surprised that he was able to decapitate him with one blow! I figured it'd take a bit more than that, but it made me anticipate the next issue more to see him really really get his anger out there
Amazing. After always looking at the Invincible Comics at the comic store with wanting I finally got this one. I will try and get the back issues too, and will try and get it from now on when it comes out. The art is always so great.
i never did ask the question, and i suppose i'll never get an answer, but what is it with you and dismemberment? don't get me wrong, to each his own, i just see you do it "a lot".
now with that said, (let me break out the chap-stick) and say your art is incredible, and i've admired it for some time. you redering is very easy to on the eyes, and you pack so much energy and movement it.
