INVINCIBLE 88 page 8 pencil to ink by RyanOttley INVINCIBLE 88 page 8 pencil to ink by RyanOttley
Another page from issue 88, pencils to inks! Had fun re-designing Robot here, well not really re-design, just updated for space combat. In the script it said to have Robot subduing Mark, I thought instead of him just flying up and grabbing him that some electric looking power rope thingies that he'd fire at Mark and wrap around him would be cooler. I don't think they should be called electric power rope thingies though. I'll leave the cool name creations up to Robert!

good call on the "power rope thingies"

i just know someone is gonna die or at least get injured before the dust settles...thragg and allen were already pissed before. they might take out some of their stress on cecill's goons. i just hope monster girl will be fine

Awesome space fight scenes. You totally excell at zero-G fracas!
As for the electric rope-thingies, feel free to offer the great Robert K. the following suggestions:

Neutrino Bands
Strong-nuclear electrozip ties
Shock handles
Tazer tentacles

you're welcome!

I might regret asking this, but... where did that dog come from? Was he in the comic before?

I like how there's some Ironman influences on Robot's costume design. Maybe next he'll have some Cybertron-like weapons in his arsenal?

Why does he even bother getting new goggles? They're just going to keep getting smashed each issue.

That's really nice work, as usual. I've not been caught up on the book for a long time now, probably a good point to jump back in, a lot of material to read.

Here ya go! I use this mainly because it's thin enough that my 11x17 Brother printer can handle printing off my blueline with it.

I bought it! I already have my Kuretakes, Pocket Brush and an 11x17 Brother, I'll try to get on inking since building the pencils in a page takes me forever and my day job is killing me on the inside lol. I will make most speedlines on Manga studio at first.
I got a wrong ream of 11x17 cardstock before, is not smooth enough it feels kinda dry. Thanks man I hope I can be at least half the good that you are. My pal Paco Medina "lent" me a few pencil pages to make my samples but he chosed the really hard ones so I'm pretty excited of finding the right paper, I may also borrow those high-res you have hanging in your gallery :) (btw you should ad more, especially rough-loose ones to let the aspiring inkers show more their own composition and stuff).

Got my paper and I'm in love again! Kuretakes good, Brushes good, microns good, quill pen not as good but I guess there's no reason to start using it, I'm so pumped to work on this cardstock!
