Hi there, I usually tryin not to mess with advices, because usually artists see they flaws by themselfs and there is no point to double they thoughts. And because of my bad english too of cause :)

But if you're asking for a critique I have something to say. Firstly you are very talented artist and I totally love Invincible comic book. As an artist I understand why do you made such frozen action cover, but as for this one I think that you didnt make all that you can and all this scene looks somehow unfinished. I think that this is happen mostly because you didnt 'fix' they poses. What I mean is that poses all the characters on this cover have are uncertain and pretty boring and do not tells us much of they feelings such as pain, sadness, anger whatsoever.

So if I was in your place i would strengthen emotional impact of this cover by maybe a little more grotesque but stronger poses and facial expressions to put message that it have more clearly.

And of cause great lines and color, color artist do great job here!

Hey, Ryan!

Maybe it's because I'm old enough to remember 15 cent comics, but I'm digging a classic cover scenario such as this: the title character facing a predicament having to act as a shield instead of taking on the luscious (yet powerful) "alien bunny", while his equally luscious partner-in-crimefighting is facing her own crisis as her once-incredible abilities have taken a turn for the worse. Throw some "Kirby Krackle" and a shield, and this would have been a standard Avengers cover from 1969!

Keep in mind, this is NOT a dig! I'm stating that dynamic cover layouts NEVER go out of style! And the wild "3-D" coloring effect makes this an even cooler cover. Great job!

Beta-Ray Barda!
I really like it, nowadays it's very rare to see a Kirbyesque, New Gods-inspired character design that doesn't look lazy or completely ripped-off. Did you design her? Congratulations, then.

Cory Walker designed her. I think it's a great design too.

Still, very nice take. Have you seen Marvel Boy's new costume? [link]
It's just screaming for you to draw him.

This is what happens when the best penciller in the industry and the best colourist in the industry have an orgy.

Thanks! But I don't know if 2 people is considered an orgy. In that case I've actually been to orgies. Just not with colorists.
