Dress the dude in a toga and he's still not someone you'd want to fu(k with. The character is iconic enough regardless of the costume in my opinion. But then I've always loved the relative simplicity of the design personally.
My opinion> I think Cory Walker did an amazing job making it iconic, recognizable, sleek, and original. Doesn't need to invoke Invincibility to be iconic. He isn't really invincible after all. And how would you invoke invincibility in his design, draw a shield on his chest? It's like saying, "how would I invoke the feeling of "Super" in this design?! Oh I know, give him blue tights, red underwear and a cape!"
You don't need any of that to make a costume iconic...I can think of several characters that lack all of those features and would still be considered iconic and I'm sure you could as well. I appreciate the incremental changes you have made but I'm just looking forward to the next redesign. Bug eyes on a hero with no bug powers befuddles me.
