crazy enough, she looks like a real person as apposed to a comic book heroine, I like this.....

There HAS to be some secret Kitty Pride artjam going on. This is like the third image of her I've seen on dA in like a week.

Looks great though!

I love the amount of expression you create with such simple lines. Also love the bit of Eve I see in her :)

And this is saying a lot, coming from someone who hates Kitty Pride

It's Lockheed, from the old Excalibur series. Ran in late 80's - early 90's. Had two of my fav chars in it, Cerise and Feron. Good times! ;)

(and don't sweat it, I'm hardly a Marvel nerd. I just happen to know stuff about that particular series for various reasons) ;)

Now don't take this the wrong way, because I absolutely love your work on Invincible (especially the last 2 issues, wow soo much improvement, your Nolan and Allen look waaay better than usual) ;).

BUT if you were to draw for one of the big two, it would be pretty sweet. Given the option, purely theoretical, which title would you prefer? Your Kitty gives you some X cred, but I think an Ottley Spiderman would be seriously BA.

I can't tell if you were joking about the latest issues with Nolan and Allen. You do know Cory Walker drew that right?

BUT I THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD!?!?

Yeah, no I knew. I hoped the Winky guy would help me out, but sarcasm is one of the many casualties of internet correspondence. It was good to see Cory on the book again, too bad Crabtree didn't color it though, would've been like a reunion.

So Ottley Spiderman 2015? It'd be great.

Yeah I wasn't sure. heh. But yes Spidey would be cool, or Hulk, Xmen, Wolverine, ya know the big characters from my youth.

ARGH can't we clone you or something? If we had a Ryan for DC, another one for Marvel and the original at Image, everything would be right with the world.

Actually I did some at home before, and I couldn't finish ALL the sketches I put on my list so I'm working on some now. So roughly it was more like maybe 12 I completed at the show and staying up late nights drawing.

How much were they? Man, I was RIGHT next to your booth, but I only had like $15 left :P

Action figures there are cheap, but man do they take a tole on your wallet.
